New Fitness Center Arrives in the Village

All 4 Sports and Fitness relocates from West Islip to John Street space.

All 4 Sports and Fitness, a full-service health club, has moved to a new location in Babylon Village.

The gym, described by owner Frank Dolan as a "fitness boutique" that caters to all ages, from young student athletes through senior citizens, was formerly located on Sunrise Highway in West Islip. The club's members have made the move to the new facility, and Dolan says they've been appreciative of the new facility and like the new location that "fits our clientele better."

The 10-year-old family business is a "homey" community, according to Dolan, a West Islip resident.

There were concerns raised at a June Babylon Village Board of Appeals meeting as residents worried that the fitness center would increase traffic and hinder safety on John Street for motorists and nearby residents. Dolan downplayed the issue, saying that the concerns were mostly over drivers from Route 231 and that his gym would not have a negative impact.

In addition to the standard fitness offerings, All 4 Fitness also offers sports training, a batting cage, a rock climbing wall, senior fitness programs, and physical therapy.
