West Babylon Man Involved in Fatal Crash

West Babylon driver not charged in accident that killed Wyandanch motorcyclist.

A Wyandanch man was killed earlier Wednesday morning after his motorcycle struck a vehicle driven by a West Babylon man.

According to the Suffolk County Police Department, the male driver of the 2005 Honda motorcycle, who was not indentified by police, was heading northbound on Little East Neck Road when he struck a 2001 Mitsubishi box truck driven by Michael Garcia of West Babylon at the intersection of Patton Avenue.  

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner. He was described by police as Hispanic and in his mid 20's to 30's.

Garcia was not injured in the crash and was not charged with any crimes relating to the accident.
