There are no right answers, just an opportunity to gather with friends and family, or team up with fellow patrons for lively discussion, friendly debate, and the sharing of ideas! 
What deserves the title of America's food: Hot dogs? Turkey? Maybe it's pizza! Who changed America more: Thomas Jefferson or Walt Disney? What image comes to mind when you hear the word "freedom"? Play as you like, or just enjoy a brew and chat with Preservation Long Island staff!

In 1508, Pope Julius II hired a 25-year-old painter named Raphael to fresco the walls of his personal apartments in the Vatican. The result was one of the most extraordinary collections of paintings in history – including the super famous “School of Athens!” Join Dr. Rocky for this free webinar where he will examine Raphael’s celebrated frescoes in the former apartments of Pope Julius II, which are better known as the “Stanze.”

Marjorie R. Post Community Park

The Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center (ADRC) will host its Annual Memory Walk and Spring Festival at Marjorie R. Post Community Park, 451 Unqua Road, Massapequa, NY on Saturday, May 4, 2024. The walk will begin with registration at 8:30 am, a light breakfast, and the opening ceremony. The Memory Walk and Spring Festival is being held on May the Fourth and will have activities celebrating Star Wars as well as a Living Memory Tree to honor loved ones, Live music, photos, food, beverages, outdoor games, and more! In addition, many other community organizations are joining us and will be sharing resources with participants. This is an event you do not want to miss.
Each year, the Memory Walk serves to raise awareness about Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia, honor and remember those impacted by the disease, and raise funds for ADRC to continue to provide support and services to families on Long Island. All funds raised stay on Long Island and are put right back into serving local families impacted by the disease.
The cost for the day is $30 per person to participate, Children 12 and under are FREE. Consider creating a Team and having friends and colleagues join you in raising funds and awareness. All participants will receive free goodies, breakfast, lunch, and Live Music Entertainment. Plus, we plan to have Stormtroopers join us. Participants that raise $100 or more will also receive a commemorative T-shirt.
