Good morning, Babylon. Here's what Tuesday is looking like in town.

Weather

Hope you enjoy the nice weather we've been having through most of October – it's about to come to an end in a big way. Today's high marks the last time we'll see the high 60's for a while with sunny skies before clouding over towards late afternoon. Showering move in for the evening as lows drop to 46.

Traffic

Construction around the area seems to be at an end, but Sunrise Highway and the Southern State Parkway are always packed in the morning. If for some reason you need to head eastbound on the Ocean Parkway, prepare for backups with the roadway under emergency reconstruction following a recent storm's damage. Check out the traffic map above for up-to-date info.

Looks like the weekend was a success for the Babylon Village Chamber of Commerce, with hundreds, maybe thousands, packing Deer Park Avenue for the Fall Festival.

This past weekend also had the Post Office Cafe 5K, won by one of our own here in Babylon.
