Parkinson’s Disease Foundation Offers National HelpLine, Free Educational Resources for Parkinson’s Community

The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation (PDF) is pleased to offer free resources and educational materials to the Parkinson’s disease community.  People with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners and health care professionals are invited to contact PDF’s National HelpLine between 9 AM and 5 PM ET, Monday through Friday, at (800) 457-6676 or info@pdf.org, to have their Parkinson’s related questions answered by a team of trained information specialists.

PDF’s information specialists can link people with Parkinson’s to local resources, including support groups and movement disorder specialists, where available, and financial and legal resources.  They can provide answers to questions about practical topics, including symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, treatments, nutrition, physical therapy and more.  Additionally, the HelpLine is able to take requests for copies of free educational materials for callers, their patients or their support group members.

For those whose primary language is not English, the HelpLine offers interpreters in more than 200 languages.

For free educational materials or questions related to Parkinson’s disease, contact PDF’s National Helpline at (800) 457-6676, info@pdf.org, or www.pdf.org.
