1. Patch Forecast – Rain will continue throughout the day, mostly in the morning, before turning to showers as a storm system pulls out during in the afternoon. Babylon Village can expect an above-average high temperature of 60° before dipping down to a low of 45° during the night.

2. The Village of Babylon has started an Emergency Email Notification system – head over to their website to submit your information to be updated on all emergencies directly from the village.

3. A relief fund for Town of Babylon residents, including all three villages, who were affected by Superstorm Sandy has been set up. Residents can contribute to The Town of Babylon Chiefs Association Hurricane Relief Fund, in which 100 percent of donations to the fund will go to directly benefit residents of the Town of Babylon, Amityville Village, Babylon Village and Lindenhurst Village who were affected by Superstorm Sandy. 4. The Babylon Student-Faculty Administration is holding a Pie Sale that will end this Friday. We are offering delicious pies and 1.5 or 2 pound cookie trays from The Black Forest Bakery in Lindenhurst. All proceeds go to BSFA to fund scholarships for our graduating seniors. 5. Have some fun with your toddlers at Yoga Tots. Learn the importance of post-natal yoga and the gift of practicing yoga with your tots. This class is geared for children ages 1-3 (Beginning when babies become mobile) at the Sexuality Education and Counseling Services and starts at 4 p.m.
