5 Things to Know: January 15th

1. Patch Forecast – Old Man Winter is back and bringing some soggy weather with him. Babylon Village will see a high temperature of 41° with periods of rain throughout the day before turning steady during the evening. Night time lows will hover above freezing at 36°.

2. Get out of the cold and come down to the West Babylon Public Library to create these frosty snowman cupcakes with The Baking Coach. Bring a friend and enjoy these tasty treats – free for grades 6 through 12 at 7 p.m.

3. The United Methodist Church Nursery School will hold an Open House for parents at 6 p.m.

4. It's Open Mic Night at The Bean in the village. Sip away on some great coffee and listen to local artists play their tunes, read poetry or perform comedy acts or bring your own guitar and rock out with the crowd. The event is, as always, free for all starting at 7:30 p.m.
