1. Patch Forecast – Babylon Village can take a breath finally – the rain will stop for a little bit on your Thursday. Mostly cloudy skies will reign in the skies, but don't be surprised to see a bit of sunlight. Afternoon highs will be around 43°, but as a system and cold front approach the area at night, temperatures will drop to 28° and bring us a chance for snow.
2. Check out the site later today for an updated look at the possibility for snowfall tonight, including forecasted amounts and any warnings.
3. Long Island Blood Services will be at the West Babylon Public Library at 1:15 p.m. today to run a Blood Drive. Help save a life and give the gift of blood!
4. Babylon Public Library will have a showing of the movie The Big Miracle staring Drey Barrymore and Dermot Mulroney at 3 p.m. for free. The movie is an amazing tale of a small town news reporter and a Greenpeace volunteer who are joined by rival world superpowers to save a family of majestic gray whales trapped by rapidly forming ice in the Arctic Circle.
