5 Things to Know: October 18th

1. Patch Forecast – Another beautiful day is ahead in Babylon Village as forecasts call for mostly sunny conditions throughout the day. Highs are expected to be around 65°, but hang onto the rain gear – showers are expected to move into the area as the evening rolls in.

2. Congregation Beth Sholom will be hosting a Senior Social Time starting at 12:30 p.m. Open to the public, local residents are invited for an afternoon of cards, conversation, coffee and company.

3. Head out to Babylon Public Library for a Free Movie featuring the movie Courageous, rated PG-13. The film starts at 3 p.m.

4. Join author and sleight-of-hand artist Allan Zola Kronzek at Babylon Public Library for an eye-popping tour of magic through the ages - from the streets of ancient Greece, through Renaissance Europe, to the present day. The show starts at 6:30 p.m.

5. Be able to defend yourself, protect your loved ones, command respect, develope physical Strength and Fitness with Kung Fu at Xinyi-Dao Kung Fu Academy at 6:30 p.m. Classes begin at $20.00.
