The rainy weather continues to linger on Long Island on your Wednesday.

1. Patch Forecast – The rain we saw all day Tuesday continues throughout the day on Wednesday, bringing more sogginess to the morning commute. Rain will taper off throughout the afternoon to showers, but it'll still continue to be humid and wet. Babylon Village will see a high of 76°.

2. Head off to West Babylon Public Library for Fun and Games at 1 p.m. Join others in games of Scrabble or Mah Jong or start a different game. Sign up at the Circulation Desk. All players and walk-ins are welcome.

3. Join the psychic April as she reads Tarot Cards at All The Perks Espresso Cafe at 6 p.m. Also enjoy one of our delicious paninis or wraps or salads and a refreshing perc-o-chinos or smoothie or our organic iced coffee or tea. Each reading costs $20.00.

4. The Babylon School District Technology Committee will hold a Public Meeting in the computer lab at the Babylon Memorial Grade School at 7 p.m.

5. The New York Yankees might be one win away from clinching both the best record in the American League and the East Division, but enjoy some history on sports' greatest franchise at Babylon Public Library. Former batboy turned team avisor, Ray Negron, will be at the library to discuss his new book, Yankee Miracles at 7 p.m.
