5 Things to Know: September 6th

1. Patch Forecast – The rain clouds finally go away for the entire day and give us a perfect start to the school year in Babylon Village. Sunny weather will be around all day long with high temperatures near 79°. Babylon School District reopens for the 2012-13 school year this morning. Keep an eye out for little ones out on the sidewalks and buses on the roadways. Drive safe, go slow and make sure everyone has a wonderful day!

2. Babylon High School's Girls Varsity Soccer Team will open their season with a non-league game away from home against  at 4:30 p.m. Go root the Lady Panthers on!

3. Pandemonium on Deer Park Avenue will host a  event full of music, discounts, and more. Come out to the store at 6:00 p.m. to see the fall fashion line up, jewlery, hair styles by Babylon's own Posh Salon and more!

4. Positions Dance Studio will be holding more open Registrations for dance classes this fall starting at 6:00 p.m. Get your little boy or girl into the dance classes they want – if you're child is a St. Joseph's Nursery student, the registration fee is waived and you'll get 10% off the tution!

5. The Suffolk County Police Department First Precinct will hold its monthly  at 7:00 p.m. Come out and talk to the police first hand and hear everything going on in our Town.
