A Village Winter Wonderland
A brave resident forged outside and took these photographs of the blizzard and village scenes.
The village is a gingerbread wonderland or a snow-encrusted challenge late Sunday evening, depending on which way one pointed the camera.
Here are some images from a drive around the village center between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on the night after Christmas.
Doorways filled with drifts, village plows prowled like hungry snow creatures, and the white sprinkles and glowing lights transformed Babylon in a world of winter beauty.
