Allstate Awards $5,000 to Babylon Rotary Relief Fund

Grant is part of insurance company's $1 million fund to support local nonprofit organizations.

The Allstate Foundation and local Allstate Agency Owner John Auer have awarded the Babylon Rotary Hurricane Relief Foundation a $5,000 grant, as part of an effort to rebuild and recover from Sandy.

The grant will be used to help improve the lives of Babylon Village residents that were affected by Hurricane Sandy. 100% of the donations received by the Babylon Rotary Relief Fund have been given to families throughout Babylon and local communities that were impacted by Sandy.

“At Allstate, we have compassion to help those in need and ensure the safety and vitality of communities,” said Auer. “Thousands of our employees and agency owners are working around the clock to help our customers and communities rebuild from the devastation caused by Sandy. The grant to the Babylon Rotary Foundation will help our community recover and ensure people can get the essential services they need.”
