Annual Booster Club Chili & Chowder Contest This Sat.
Contest will determine who has the best chili and chowder in the village before Homecoming.
Local restaurants and residents alike are set to square off against each other at Homecoming this weekend for the Babylon Booster Club's first annual Chili/Chowder Cook-Off.
The Booster Club will be holding the event before this weekend's Homecoming Game between the Babylon Panthers and visiting Mount Sinai Mustangs starting at 2 p.m.
A group of Babylon restaurants will face-off against each other for the titles of "Best Chili in Babylon" and "Best Chowder in Babylon," including:

- Glens Dinette
- Lily Flannagan’s
- Swell Taco
Residents will also compete against each other for the title of "Best Chili in Babylon," which includes a Booster Apron, membership and, of course, bragging rights. Defending her title from last year's inaugural contest is Jules LaRock.
