A record-cold temperature and a dangerous wind chill left Argyle Lake Park deserted on Tuesday morning.

At 9 a.m., the temperature fell to 5 degrees, with a wind chill of -17. That's right, -17.

As for the iconic lake in the middle of the village: It's frozen, and is expected to remain that way for the next few days, as temperatures aren't expected to climb above freezing until Thursday.
