At The Libraries: April 29

All of the events at our area's local libraries this week.

Our local libraries are a source of both knowledge and entertainment, with informational and education events being hosted throughout the week. Babylon and West Babylon Public Libraries often host these events for little or no charge, so check out the top five events going on this week.

  1. Learn how the NYS Partnership for Long Term Care may help residents and their families fund long-term care without spending down their assets at West Babylon Public Library on Mon., April 29 at 2 p.m.
  2. Take a New York State Safe Boating course at West Babylon Public Library on Tues., April 30 at 7 p.m. for only $10 (if over 18, free for under 18).
  3.  Join Andy Cooney for a night of Irish Music and entertainment at the Babylon Public Library on Tues., April 30 at 7 p.m.
  4. Representatives from Project Hope will be on hand at the Babylon Public Library to help answer any questions and advise residents affected by Hurricane Sandy on Tues., April 30 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  5. Join in on some Wii Bowling at West Babylon Public Library on Tues., April 30 at 6:30 p.m.
