Catch a free showing of the movie First Position (not rated) at the West Babylon Public Library on Friday at 1 p.m.

The Conklin House will host the "You Gotta Have Art" exhibit featuring Elizabeth Karoly starting Friday evening at 7 p.m. for a reception and again during the day from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Positions Dance Studio will put a on production of Peter and the Wolf at the Babylon Public Library at 3 p.m. Admission is free to this afternoon ballet.

Love old muscle cars? This is your event – Arnold Chevrolet in West Babylon will be holding Vette Fest, a car show featuring music, great cars and trophies on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free tee shirts will be given to the first 125 preregistered car owners.

Fitness Incentive, Sherry's Place, The Argyle, Health Alternatives and Glen's Dinette have all donated to this year's Swimathon to benefit the Winthrop University Hospital. The event takes place at Hofstra University on Sunday from 7 to 11:30 a.m.
