Hurricane Sandy did more than damage homes, destroy cars and knock out power – the superstorm changed our shorelines.
The National Weather Service has released these satellite images from hard hit areas following the hurricane's hit on our area. For ease of viewing, we have included an image from Google Maps taken earlier this summer.
