Conklin House Hosting Apple Pie Contest on Oct. 13

First annual apple pie contest will take place later this month.

Nothing is quite as American as apple pie, and Babylon Village is about see a lot of it!

The Nathaniel Conklin House will be hosting an Apple Pie Contest on October 13.

The contest will be open to the first 30 registrants and there will be two first prizes of $250 and two second prizes of $100 for the winners. Village trustee Debbie Basile told Patch there was no fee to enter.

The Conklin House, located just south of the railroad overpass on Deer Park Avenue, is the home of many big events later this year as summer turns into fall and winter.
