Day of Info, Food and Supplies at Fred Shores This Sat.

Neighbors Supporting Neighbors Babylon Inc. will host a Day of Information, Questions Answered, Food and Supplies this Saturday, April 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Fred Shores Beach Club.

The volunteer organization expects several major organizations to be attending, including representatives from:

• FEMA, for handling claims and answering all questions
• AmeriCorps
• Long Island Recovery Center & AmeriCorps Volunteer Services
• Town of Babylon's Lou Suarez
• Family Service League
• Island Harvest
• Project Hope

In addition to the representatives, Neighbors Supporting Neighbors will also be holding a barbecue down at the Beach Club during this time.

Girl Scouts will also be reportedly going door to door with boxes of items. One notice reminds those attending to sign in for a chance to win a gift card.

The organization, which has helped residents hit hardest by Hurricane Sandy in October dig out and rebuild, has previously hosted events like this at the same location.
