Travel Tips: Go early and enjoy the santuary the estate offers visitors. Don't forget your camera as the photography options are extraordinary. It's closed on Mondays so enjoy a great weekend day or mid day excursion as hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through October 31. Fall foliage weeks are a phenomenal time to visit given the extensive trees and shrubs. Both public and private tours of the historic buildings are available. Parking is $8 for residents without the state park pass.
