Health Program, Tax Help on Today's Calendar

Here’s the agenda for today:

The varsity girls basketball team heads to Mattituck for a game starting at 6:15 p.m.

NY Boating Safety Certification and USCG License Courses are held daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 281 Phelps Ln, Babylon.

An advanced bridge workshop will be held today and next Thursday at the Babylon Public Library from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Certified ACBL instructor Joe Schineller will guide players through each hand and advise on the different options. Please call ahead as this program may be unavailable as registration was in December. There is a small non-refundable fee of $5.00 due at registration.

Every Thursday the Babylon Public Library provides a free blood pressure screening in the Periodical Room on a first-come, first-served basis between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. For more information you can contact the Adult Reference Department at 669-1624. 

Seniors needing tax help should mark their calendar for tomorrow as there is a weekly AARP Tax Assistance at Babylon Public Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
