Monsoon Hosting Thanksgiving Dinner for 50 Babylon Families

Asian Kitchen looks to help Babylon residents "forget their troubles" for a few hours.

Monsoon Asian Kitchen and Lounge will be hosting 50 families from the Babylon Village area for a special Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday afternoon.

The popular restaurant was one of Babylon's first to re-open following the onslaught of Hurricane Sandy and has already hosted a benefit night in conjunction with the Babylon Rotary Club.

"We all know Babylon residents who have had their Thanksgiving taken from them due to the storm," says a flyer emailed by the restaurant earlier this week. "Monsoon would like to offer our hour and home for some turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and football."

The restaurant will open at 11 a.m. to 50 local families to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner – spots are reportedly still available for any families in need. The invitation notes those interested should call Monsoon's General Manager, Lauren, at (631) 587-4400 and reserve a spot for themselves and their families.

"We are opening our doors... to 50 Babylon families to enjoy a complimentary Thanksgiving dinner, some hospitality and a few hours to temporarily forget their troubles."
