Monsoon Owners Donate $12,000 to Rotary Relief Fund
Bohlsen Group restaurant raised $6,000, matched by owners for Babylon relief fund.
The Babylon Rotary Club's Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund got a big boost last week from the owners of Monsoon Asian Kitchen and Lounge – a $12,000 check that will go towards helping local residents rebuild from the October storm.
The restaurant initially raised $6,000 during a fundraiser held in November; the restaurant's owners matched all of the donations made during the fundraiser and gave the money to the Rotary Club's fund.
The fund has been raising money since November and is still accepting donations on their website.
