One Year Ago Today: It Was Snow Pummeling the Village
Babylon residents on Jan. 12, 2011, were digging out from several inches of snow dumped by back-to-back storms.
Can it be just one year ago that village residents and business owners were shoveling for what seemed like days? Today's rain, according to forecasters, is equivalent to about four inches of snow, which is much less than what residents faced on January 12, 2011.
