Flooded streets were a normal thing to see from Wednesday through Friday as a late winter nor'easter dropped rain, snowflakes and high winds across Long Island.
In Babylon Village, the snow did not amount to much, but the continuously flooded streets were a stark reminder of the damage Hurricane Sandy brought in October.
Local resident Catherine Stefanak sent in this photo taken at 8 a.m. Saturday morning, as blue skies and general clearing continued and our storm long gone, as Shore Road flooded one more time during high tide. Coastal flooding will remain a probably through the day, with one more higher than normal high tide expected this afternoon.
Thanks for sending us the photo, Catherine! Remember to send your photos to our Pics & Clips section and they could be our Photo of the Day!
