Shelter Pet of the Week: Marty
Marty is one of many dogs and cats that are awaiting new families at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.
"Marty" is a small adult male Chihuahua mix. He was a terrified stray in an industrial area right near the shelter. Staff caught him in a humane trap. Why such a tiny dog was left to fend for himself remains a mystery. At first he was very frightened but he is starting to relax and come around. He is more comfortable with people he has met before, but that list is expanding and he is doing well. He needs a home with lots of TLC.
