Shelter Pet of the Week: Mona Lisa

This cute one-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix needs a loving home.

Mona Lisa, a large adult female Pit Bull Terrier mix is one of many dogs and cats awaiting new families at the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter.

Shelter staff says she is a “sweet gal....the coloring on her mouth paints a perpetual half smile. DaVinci would approve of her expression.” This one-year-old is petite- about 35 pounds. She was timid at first but is becoming affectionate with the staff and volunteers. Mona Lisa has a soft coat. Her head and ear set are reminiscent of a large Jack Russell.

If you would like to visit Mona Lisa (ID#93957), please visit the Town of Babylon Animal Shelter or call 643-9270.
