A foot of snow has fallen in North Babylon, the most recorded on Long Island, based on unofficial reports from the National Weather Service.

With plenty of the white stuff on the ground, we'd love to see your photos of the winter wonderland.  Check out some photos above submitted by readers and then send your own to ryan@patch.com (just note the location).

I just shoveled for hours; I am exhausted and I have an artificial hip. The plows just came through and dumped more snow in front of the drive Again. Does anyone out there understand raising the plow as you go by drives or cars already shoveled out? It's an old courtesy that is never observed and as much as I appreciate the big plows have been going all night (and those men are tired), whoever is doing the side streets is creating even more work for the tired residents.
