Babylon Village natives Ryan McKeown and Kevin Kelland are organizing a St. Baldrick's fundraiser event on March 11 at Lily Flanagan's Pub from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The effort is focused on raising funds for the St. Baldrick's Foundation which is dedicated to helping children fighting cancer. Participants can shave their heads, volunteer to help or just donate to the cause by attending.
The goal is to raise $20,000 through the event. The current tally is just a bit over $3,000.
