Taking a Plunge to Fight Juvenile Diabetes

Friends, family and supporters of seven-year-old James Toruin, a village resident battling juvenile diabetes, participated in the ninth annual Polar Plunge this weekend on the north shore.

In a quest to increase awareness and monetary support in research for juvenile diabetes, the Tourin family of Babylon Village participated in this weekend's ninth annual Polar Plunge event. Friends, family and supporters took a dip into the icy waters of Long Island Sound.
