This Week's Events in Babylon Village

There's something fun for everyone happening in the village this week, from a terrific fundraising event for the National Kidney Registry, to a soup making, card creation and a movie event at the Babylon Public Library.

On Monday don't miss the next-to- last workshop in Babylon resident and poet Nancy Keating's "poetry jumpstart" series. It starts at 7pm at the Babylon Bean-Coffee Extreme on Fire Island Avenue and is sponsored by the Babylon Village Arts Council. Participation is free but group size is limited; please sign up by calling (631) 275-5387.

Get a jump on those holiday cards by participating in the Create Photo Greeting Cards program being held Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm at the Babylon Public Library.

Wednesday is the dinner gala to benefit the National Kidney Resgistry from 6pm to 9pm at LaGrange. Call 517-9649 for ticket information. Over at the library, movie day starts at 3pm and the book discussion club talks about Kelly McMaster' Welcome to Shirley tome starting at 7pm.
