Tuna Club's Annual Snapper Derby This Saturday
Children will be getting their rods and bait ready to land the big one at the docks!
The Babylon Tuna Club will be hosting their annual Snapper Derby this Saturday, August 24th at 9:00 a.m. at the Babylon Village Docks.
The annual children's contest has been a long-standing tradition in the village, with some residents noting it has felt like it has gone on annually since they can recall.
Children aged 12 years or younger are invited to come and fish starting at 9:00 a.m. where fishing rods, tackle and bait will be available for all to use.

Children are not allowed to have their parents join them – for help or to fish – during the tournament.
Each age group will be divided up and the person who catches the biggest fish will take home exciting prizes.
