Viewfinder: Cutest Canine Contest Brings Out the Dogs
During the recent Spring Fling Festival, a "Cutest Canine Contest" sponsored by the Westcott Group Real Estate Company proved that Babylon has gone to the dogs. Very cute ones.
Pomeranians and poodles and papillons--oh my! On any given day, Babylon Village teems with pedestrians, including the quadruped kind. And on one special day there were more than the average number of four-legged village visitors. The reason? The Westcott Group Real Estate Company's third annual Cutest Canine Contest.
About 80 pooches entered the contest, either by online photograph submission or by stopping at the real estate office to pose for a picture there.
While some dogs frolicked on the photo stage, others sat peacefully and smiled. Still others simply gazed at their owners, as if to ask, "Don't you already know I'm the cutest?"

At the end of the day, it was all in good fun. Every dog, whether declared the "winner" or not, fetched more than a few smiles from the humans.
