Village Residents Capture the Beauty, and Fun, of Snow

Only the very young are still likely enjoying the white stuff that keeps falling each week in the village. But some village residents also enjoy the opportunity it provides to share their photography skills.

Snow. Yes it's pretty, and for the young crowd it affords a day off from school which no kid is unhappy about. But for us adults shoveling the driveway yet again, and restocking salt-melt and clearing off cars is becoming quite a bore.

So Patch asked village residents to remind us about how great snow can be, and the tranquility it brings, especially in the quiet of the morning.

I cannot get my car out due to the plows burying me in. I have emphysema and need to get my car started so I can get to the store. Is there anyone who I can call to help me? I am in West Babylon, on Marcy Street, off Belmont Avenue. Who can I call for help. I am all alone with no one to help me. Thank you. Barbara
