Village Viewfinder: A Peaceful Sunset at Cedar
A beautiful sunset appears at one of our area's busy marinas.
The heat wave broke last week with some spectacular thunderstorms over Long Island and, while this week has been much cooler, the thunderstorms stayed around to put on more shows in the skies.
Photographer Bridgette Kistinger snapped this shot of the sky at sunset at Cedar Beach Marina a mere hour after a thunderstorm rolled by. The storm is still visible as a wall of clouds on the right side of the photo.
