WATCH: Winds, Waves Batter Babylon Shorelines Ahead of Storm

Nor'easter sends big waves, powerful winds before rain and snow start falling.

Babylon Village was feeling an eerie reminder of Hurricane Sandy as a nor'easter blew some large waves and powerful gusts before a single drop of precipitation fell on Wednesday.

Shorelines from Frederick Shores to the Babylon Docks saw some pretty choppy seas, big crashing waves and gusts around 40 mph.

The storm, still on track, is expected to bring higher than normal tides, gusty winds and about 3 to 6 inches of snow.
