Lake Ronkonkoma Restaurant Sold to Lily Flanagan's Owners


Bruno's Village Restaurant on Hawkins Avenue in Lake Ronkonkoma has been sold to a Babylon Village business and turned over its bar stools for the final night on Sunday, according to Frank Giordano, the restaurant's general manager. 

E. Northport Teen Takes First-Place in Dirty Sock Run


Over 640 runners took part in the Babylon Village Classic 10k Race, also known as the Dirty Sock Run, which takes runners through Southard's Pond and Argyle Park for 10,000 meters.

Molto Vino Expansion OK'd by Village Board


The Babylon Village Board gave the go-ahead to the owners of Molto Vino as they prepare to expand the popular wine bar into a next-door space.

Sick Whale Put Down Near Gilgo Beach


An ailing pygmy sperm whale that beached itself along the shoreline just east of Gilgo Beach was euthanized on Tuesday by a marine life organization.
