What's Happening Today in the Village
There's a slew of events happening today, from the weekly Rotary meeting to a new restaurant opening.
A grand opening ceremony for the newest restaurant in the village, Blue Chill, will take place with a ribbon- cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. The eatery is celebrating all day by offering a 10% discount to diners til closing at 10 p.m.
The Babylon Booster Club will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. at village hall. New members are welcome to join at any time.
The Babylon Rotary will hold its weekly meeting at 12:15 p.m. at the Long Island Yacht Club.

The Babylon Public Library is holding a 'drop in' craft program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program, which will be held in the small community room, runs from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. A little later, starting at 5:45 p.m., a 'decorate your own your own holiday ornament' will be run by Linda O'Connell, and there is a $3 fee for that program.
