What's On Babylon Village Patch's Boards

Did you check out the Boards this week on Babylon Village Patch? If not, you missed news and information posted by your neighbors.

For those that have yet to use Patch’s Boards, it’s a simple way to promote your organization’s event, share good news about your child or yourself, or perhaps even look to sell that item gathering dust in the basement. (Leave off the part about the dust.)

Here’s a look at some of the items posted this past week:

• Christina Lanzillotto from the International Student Exchange, based out of Babylon, is looking for host families to house their students that visit Long Island from countries around the world. More details can be found here.
• Rose Ann Norman told us the Babylon Village Arts Council will host a film viewing of "Dark Horse" by Todd Solondz at the Babylon Public Library on August 27.
• The American Legion Post 94 will host a Military Ball on September 7 to help the legion build a new roof, according to Roseann Ciancuielli. Details can be found here.
