The Babylon Village Arts cOuncil is proud to present its 2nd Thursday Concert featuring performance artisit Lois Morton, on February 10 at Astoria Federal Savings Bank. This free concert is the first for the 2011 season. Lois Morton uses her vocal and musical talent to bring the music of Edith Pilaf to life. From Ms. Pilaf early days in Paris to her triumph in the concert halls, Ms. Morton will enthrall participants to enjoy this journey. The music begins at 7:30. BVAC is asking that participants bring a non-perishable item to the concert which will be donated to a local food pantry. This concert is made possible through Suffolk County Executive Office, private donations and with the partnership with Astoria Federal Savings Bank. (NOTE: web site is under construction.)
