The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce that the Captree Fall Harvest and Seafood Festival will take place on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday, September 18, 2011 from 11:00am-5:00pm, at Captree State Park located at 3500 E. Ocean Parkway, Babylon, NY 11702.
This family-oriented event includes pony rides, crab races, a magic show, live music, an interactive pirate show, seafood, fresh local produce, carnival games, and much more.
The festival is free, however, a vehicle use fee of $8 will be collected. For more information, please call the Regional Recreation Department at 631-321-3510, Monday thru Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm.
