It may be a month away, but get excited for some neighborhood family fun.

On April 27, Puppetry Arts, Park Slope’s charitable arts organization, will host the annual Fifth Avenue Family Festival from 11 a.m. through 3 p.m. along Fifth Avenue at Fourth Street along the park and Old Stone House.

This event, which is rain or shine, is free and open to the public. The family festival will include puppet and mask painting, face painting, a bouncy moonwalk, cotton candy, hot dogs and more surprises and treats!

There will be Live music for families all day, with prizes and giveaways. Fuze Beverage will invite kids to create unique spin art with a bicycle and your little ones can test their arm at the SI Yankees ski ball.

The first 200 kids will receive a free Gift Bags filled with all kinds of goodies.

"The community relies on us to fulfill our goal of providing family programming" said Puppetry Arts Executive Director Tim Young, "And this annual festival is a perfect opportunity for positive and enriching cultural outreach impacting hundreds of youth and families."

The festival’s special guests include Regal Cinemas, the Good Neighbear from State Farm, Google, and cameos by Star Wars Costume Volunteers from the 501st Empire City Garrison and the Echo Base Rebel Legion.
