Sunday@3 Series to Begin 2013 Season [VIDEO]

The Great Neck Park District is gearing up for a new season of the Sunday@3 series.

The 3 p.m. performances, scheduled during the fall, winter and spring months at Great Neck House, include coffee and conversation with guest speakers.

The winter season of shows begins Jan. 13 with Great Neck native Mike Engle performing with his jazz trio.

A current park card is required to register and attend the following events:

Jan. 13: Mike Engle Vibratrio

Great Neck native kicks off the 2013 season with his jazz trio.

Jan. 27: The Brewflies

Bluegrass at it’s best.

Feb. 3: Anton Del Forno

Guitar virtuoso returns to play both classical and modern compositions.

Feb. 10: Aubrey Johnson Trio

Listen to Jazz classics as well as Brazilian tunes.

Feb. 24: Steve Adelson Quartet

Spend an afternoon with this jazz quartet.

March 3: Barry Manilow and Bette Midler Tribute

A tribute to two music legends by vocalists Donna Maxim and Fonda Feingold.

March 17: David Bennett Cohen

Pianist David Bennett Cohen, who started in the Woodstock era with Country Joe & the Fish, plays a special holiday show.

March 24: Amy Regan

Soulful vocals and emotive songwriting from this unsigned New York favorite. 

April 7: Lenny Dell

Lead singer of Doo Wop group, The Demensions, will perform all the oldies.

April 14: Barry Fetterman & Cathy Santurella

Part of the group, Soundtrac, the duo returns with their own show.
