Viewfinder: Babylon Village Stands on Ceremony
The unveiling of the historic fountain recreation was an old-fashioned affair, with Memorial Day revelers and volunteers gathering to witness the big reveal.
After the Memorial Day Parade finished making its way through the village on Monday, the patriotic and hometown festivities continued at the official dedication ceremony for Babylon's new old fountain. Politicians, families, and a slew of cameras came to commemorate the occasion, and the fountain's running water was a welcome end to a hot hour in the sun.
