Village Hosting 3rd Annual Babylon Art Festival
BACCA's art show is set to take place at Old Town Hall.
The Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts will hold its third annual Babylon Art Festival Art Show in Babylon Village during the weekend of May 3rd.
The art show features artwork produced by Babylon-area students in the Babylon School District, Dowling College and Farmingdale State College, showcasing work in response to this year’s show theme “LIGHT” and the 1913 poem “Trees” by Joyce Kilmer.
The art show will include a special exhibit, dubbed “Art in Science,” which will highlight award winning science projects that also have an artistically creative visual appeal.
The show will kick off with an awards presentation and reception on Fri., May 3 starting at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. The exhibit will continue on Sat. and Sun., May 4 and 5 at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.
