What's Happening This Weekend

It'll be a busy weekend around Babylon Village again with more than enough events to keep you entertained.

Friday is here again and that means one thing – weekend events! The weather has been uncooperative all week long and it'll remain somewhat stormy Friday through Sunday with isolated thunderstorms on tap, so keep an umbrella handy and an eye to the sky incase dark clouds roll in. Temperatures will finally warm up to where they should be – mid-to-upper 70's all weekend long.

Head out the Babylon Bean Coffee House to get some real jams – "" Fridays are on starting at 8:00pm with J.P. Noonan taking your requests all night long. Don't forget to have your tarot cards read while there – the beautiful psychic Marie will be telling your future while the music plays.

If you're feeling more like a movie, head down to the Town of Babylon's Overlook Beach at 8:30pm to : Dolphin Tale. The PG-rated movie centers on the friendship between a boy and an injured dolphin. The movie will cost $10.00, but all proceeds go towards a donation to the 9/11 Memorial.

Got some cash to spend or looking for a new item? Head over to St. Joseph Thrift Store's on Saturday morning. All items in the including giftware, kitchen items, jewelry, toys, collectible dolls, jeans, baby items and more. All proceeds from the sales will go to the St. Joseph Outreach Center, which helps local families.

Later in the evening, Tanger Outlets in Deer Park will host the first in a series of free summer concerts. Yonkers-based rapper/singer Outasight will take the stage on Saturday starting at 6:00pm. The concert stage will be located at the Arches Fountain.
