Police: W. Babylon Man Stabbed, Killed Brother

A West Babylon man is under arrest after police said he stabbed and killed his brother in their Densfield Road home on Saturday afternoon.

Suffolk County Police were called to 769 Densfield Road at around 5:40 p.m. Saturday by resident John Beaumont, who told cops he stabbed his brother following an argument.

Upon their arrival, police found John's brother, Thomas, and had him transported to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where the 57-year old man died from his injuries.

Police said the brothers lived at the West Babylon home with their father, who was home at the time. He was not injured.

John, 54, was arrested and charged with Murder in the second degree. He will be arraigned on Sunday in Central Islip.
