A Peek at the Gas Pump: Village Station Price Better Than LI Average

With the holiday weekend upon residents, a look at gas prices can help save travelers a few bucks.

The lone gas station in Babylon Village, the Sunoco at 156 West Main Street and South Carll Avenue, is currently selling regular gas for $3.45 a gallon, which is lower than the LI average price of $3.51 per gallon, which is the cheapest average price since February.

The gas prices, from LongIslandGasPrices.com, indicates the most inexpensive price can be had at Gas Sale in Central Islip where fuel is selling for $3.29. Out east the price is a bit higher. The Mobile in Amagansett is charging $4.04 per gallon.   

West Islip station prices show a variable of six cents at local pumps. Valero and Gas Stop are offering regular for $3.39. Delta comes in second with a price of $3.41, while USA and Walson have regular for $3.45.
