A Superbowl Party That Offers a Special Fashion Flair

Several village store owners are collaborating on a unique big game event that offers something for men, women and even the non-football fan.

The typical Superbowl party features beer, wings, beer, chips, beer, a three-foot hero and more beer.

But there’s a new kind of party in the village this Sunday, literally, which offers quite a different menu, a unique half-time show and something for the football hater.

Pandemonium boutique, Barrique Kitchen & Wine Bar, the Posh salon and Healthy Alternatives are all behind a unique Superbowl event, that will be held at Barrique, that offers fans a place to watch the big game, a viewing of the movie "Bridesmaids" for those non-fans, and a fashion show during halftime.

There is a price-fixed meal for $19.50 and $5 martinis, sangria and wine choices.

It’s the third consecutive year for the event, says Pandemonium owner Jacqueline DiDonato, and she’s still in need of seven more models to help show off the newest fashions.

"If you have never modeled for a fashion show, not to worry, we have a lot of new models. We are looking for anyone from a size 0 to size 12 and any height,” said DiDonato. All models will receive gift certificates from Pandemonium and Posh.

Post Salon professionals will be doing the hair and makeup for the fashion segment.

“It is a lot of fun and very exciting, we will be previewing the Spring/Summer 2012 fashions,” said DiDonato.
